Fashion Futures brought together young people who are thinking about the future of fashion and the planet to dialogue, exchange inspirations, and show how C&A is transforming its production process. An initiative that went beyond the brand: created conversations about collective interest issues that impact the farmer of today, the fashion consumer of tomorrow, and our planet.
The project gave rise to a series of documentaries that address topics such as transparency and circular economy through the reports of experts, fashion students, and new entrepreneurs. Each of the episodes was launched in events with open debate cycles that encouraged looking inward, to the market, and to the future. The subjects created a series of special reports in partnership with VICE that contributed to raising awareness of the issues.
Fashion Futures represented an important shift for C&A. Communication about sustainability of large fashion brands in Brazil has an institutional tone and is directed at audiences that will not live the impact of their actions in the future. The project was pioneering in proposing a dialogue with a new generation that has the power to transform the course of society.
